CHP: Pedestrian on Hwy 99 causes four-car crash

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) – All lanes of northbound Highway 99 near 7th Standard Road have reopened following a chain-reaction crash involving four vehicles. Ten people were hurt in the crashes. The California Highway Patrol said a person walked into the traffic lanes around 6 a. m. Thursday, causing the crash.
