CHP: Officers recover abducted child in Bakersfield

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) – A 2-year-old girl who was allegedly abducted was safely found overnight by California Highway Patrol officers in Bakersfield. The CHP said the child was taken by her mother, who doesn’t have guardianship. The CHP developed information that the mother might be in the McFarland area. Officers then spotted the mother’s vehicle heading south on Highway 99 near 7th Standard Road. Path to Full Story on 29 Eyewitness News
