
Three dozen 6th and 7th grade girls from Buttonwillow Union School District attended a private lunch on Tuesday as part of a STEM mentoring program. The Buttonwillow Girls STEM Mentoring is a two-year program that pairs up girls with women who work in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) jobs around Kern County.
