Bribes, kickbacks, falsifying reports: BPD officer claims corruption

A Bakersfield Police Officer is accusing captains in the department of crime and corruption. Chris Messick, who served with BPD for 9 years and is now on unpaid administrative leave, told Eyewitness News after hearing about and witnessing commanding officers break the rules for so long he decided to something needed to be said.
