Boys & Girls Clubs of Kern County tear down building to get rid of unsavory activity

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) – A triplex building across an alley from the Boys & Girls Clubs Armstrong Youth Center was torn down Monday with the hopes of expanding the space for kids and eliminating illegal activity that’s taken place in the alley. Boys & Girls Clubs of Kern County recently purchased the adjacent property with the goal of demolishing the structure, thanks to the support of the William A. Wheeler and Florence R.
