Big rig crashes amid high winds on 58, snow sticking on Grapevine

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) – A semitruck crashed onto its side Monday morning on eastbound Highway 58 near General Beale Road, east of Bakersfield. Eastbound traffic is still moving in the area. The California Highway Patrol hasn’t said what caused the crash, but Kern County is dealing with strong winds and wet, snowy weather over the mountain passes.
