Bakersfield police ID suspect from South H Street murder

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) – Police have identified the suspect in a deadly New Year’s Day shooting. Adam Arellano, 28, is suspected of shooting 43-year-old Edgar Lopez at an apartment complex off South H Street. An arrest warrant has been issued, and police asked anyone with information on Arellano’s whereabouts to call Detective Fred Torres at (661) 326-3273. Arellano is considered armed and dangerous.
