Bakersfield gets $94 million in gas tax money for bridge replacement, Centennial Corridor

The city of Bakersfield on Monday announced it received $94 million from the state for local road projects. The funds come by way of the increased gas tax, a law deeply unpopular in Kern County. City manager Alan Tandy forecast last year the law would be a Path to Full Story on 29 Eyewitness News
