Bakersfield community remembers Marvin Dean

The memorial service for Marvin Dean, the prominent community activist, was held Saturday afternoon at the People's Missionary Baptist Church in Bakersfield. Dean passed away on Dec. 30 at the age of 66. His funeral was attended by his family, friends as well as other prominent members of the community such as Bakersfield Mayor Karen Goh. But no matter where everyone came from, the prominent theme of the afternoon was that it was important to ensure that Marvin's legacy continues to live on. Path to Full Story on 29 Eyewitness News
