Bakersfield boy gets heart transplant, ‘chance at a life he has dreamed of’

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) – A Bakersfield boy has a new heart. Eyewitness News first covered Brayden Eidenshink’s story in 2014. He’s needed a heart transplant since then, and his family’s prayers were finally answered Wednesday. The Facebook page Brayden’s Brave Heart, which has been chronicling Brayden’s journey, included the hashtag #wegotthecallonday1691 in a post Thursday morning.
