BPD searching of assault suspect
The Bakersfield Police Department is searching for a person who shot a man early Saturday morning.At about 2:17 a.m., BPD officers received a report of a gunshot victim at San Joaquin Community Hospital in the 2600 block of Chester Avenue, according to a news release from the department.
