BPD believes a man missing since March was murdered.

The Bakersfield Police Department announced that during the investigation of the disappearance of Micah Holsonbake, who was last seen March 23, it received information leading investigators to believe he is dead and that he was murdered. Baylee Despot, who went missing on April 25, followed Holsonbake’s disappearance. The Kern County Sheriff’s office began investigating Despot’s case in April.
