Arvin voters OK cannabis measure, but Bakersfield and Kern voters say ‘no’

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) – Voters in Bakersfield and Kern County rejected several measures for the regulation of cannabis during Tuesday’s midterm election. Arvin voters, however, approved a cannabis taxation measure. County voters had two choices: Measures J and K. Kern County supervisors previously banned all commercial cannabis activity.
