
BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) – The California Highway Patrol began collecting toys Monday for its annual CHiPS for Kids drive, aimed at helping disadvantaged children this holiday season. Folks can bring new, unwrapped toys to donate at these locations until Dec. 17: The CHP office on Compagnoni Street. Motor City (in the auto mall) United Way on Stockdale Hwy.
