Air Force veteran, 103, said keeping your body busy is key

Family and friends gathered on Monday to celebrate a milestone in John “Jack” Jones’ life. “This is a celebration of me reaching 103,” Jones said with a grin. “We had a beautiful time We sang, we did a lot of things. ”Born and raised in Oakland, Jones worked as a stevedore on the San Francisco docks when he was younger, later working for PG&E. “So, most of my life was doing things,” he said.
