12 killed by gunman at Thousand Oaks bar

THOUSAND OAKS, Calif. (AP) — The Latest on a shooting at a bar in Southern California (all times local): 7:40 a. m. Ventura County Sheriff Geoff Dean says the gunman who killed 12 people at a Southern California bar used a pistol. Dean says 28-year-old Ian David Long was armed with a Glock 21, a . 45-caliber handgun designed to hold 10 rounds plus one in the chamber.
