Possible human remains found in south Bakersfield backyard

Bakersfield police are investigating possible human remains in south Bakersfield. BPD got a call around 7:30 a. m. about possible human remains found in a backyard. At this time, it is not known if the remains are human, Sgt. Brian Holcombe, of BPD, said. The specific address, the person who made the call and other details are being withheld because of the ongoing investigation.
