KCSO investigating a deadly early morning shooting in Lamont

The Kern County Sheriff's Office is investigating a shooting that left one person dead and another injured in Lamont. Deputies responded to a shooting on Velma Ave just after 1 a. m. Monday morning. Officials tell Eyewitness News that the victim was driving down Hall Road when an unidentified person shot at the vehicle.
